~~~ Monday, January 17 It was a beautiful morning. ~~~ Our front yard view Backyard and woods Closeup view of two leaves that ended up on our porch – after the snow. As much as I enjoy a beautiful sunrise, a snowy landscape is also pretty on an early morning.

~~~ Sunday Evening, January 16 ~~~ Flurries started about the time we got home from the High Family lunch – late afternoon. By 7:30 pm it looked like this. I love watching snow flurries at nighttime.

A Small Patch of Red in the Woods Got My Attention
