Lunch with Roy and Deb at Eagle Cafe, Quarryville, PA

Deb and Roy recently returned from a week-long trip to the Jackson Hole, Grand Tetons, and Yellowstone area, and we were anxious to hear about their trip with six other members of Roy’s family.

We have seen many of their photos, but hearing about the details was so much fun – especially since we visited some of the same locations in 2014. Pictures do not tell me about their excitement or experiences when getting close to animals or seeing some of the beautiful scenery – or the fun they had with Roy’s sister, brother-in-law, and cousins.

We had an hour-long drive home from southern Lancaster County, so I decided to take a few scenery pictures. The leaves are only beginning to change in our area, mostly turning from deep green to a light yellow/green.

This railroad tunnel in their area is always scenic when the sun is right – in any season.

We saw a few red trees as we entered the center of the city of Lancaster.

We also noticed several orange and red trees on our side (north) of Lancaster.

It’s a beautiful day in the neighborhood.
