Sunday Evening, September 13

We were back at Jere and Kristen’s for another family meal before Jesse leaves for his Marine School of Non-Infantry Training (29 days) then directly to Occupational Specialty Training where he will receive training to be an aviation mechanic (9 months).

Jere and Kristen honored Jesse with his favorite meal – a pancake breakfast – for supper.

Deb needed just one more picture with Jesse. I don’t think she was planning on a photobomber. 🙂

This was two days later, Tuesday, September 15, when Jere and Kristen took Jesse to Harrisburg Airport for his flight to Non-Infantry Training, then directly to his aviation mechanic training. We are hoping he gets a leave from mechanic training at Christmas, but at this point we don’t know.
