Earlier this summer our niece Chelsey (who works at Sight and Sound) told me she would like to give us tickets for Sight and Sound. We decided to take advantage of that offer for our wedding anniversary.

When she gets free tickets for family and friends, she has to wait until after midnight of the day we chose. It was fun to see the message on my phone when I got up that morning, saying, there were two seats available for the 3:00 pm showing. All we had to do was pick them up at the box office.

After being ushered to our seats, I took a few pictures that came across the screen. This was advertising their almonds.

Pictures are not allowed after the show starts. There weren’t many empty seats. I expect the empty area on the front right was a busload of people. Several busses were arriving as we did.

During the twenty-minute intermission, Chelsey came to say hi to us. She is my sister’s youngest daughter.

She came carrying a gift bag. I thought she had already done enough for us. 🙂

Inside was a coffee cup and a notebook. I love this style notebook for taking notes at church.

There were also two coupons for free drinks at their concession stand. Cerwin got Dr. Pepper and I got lemonade.

I was glad to get a picture of the lion and the lamb statue as we left. It is usually full of people taking pictures. I snapped this one quickly as one group left and another group was moving in to get a picture.

The story of Joshua was amazing and so well done. It was especially interesting as we are studying Joshua in Sunday School.
