It was a nice afternoon at our niece and nephew’s place (Jakey & Crystal) to enjoy food, fellowship, and music.

Everyone brought something for lunch.

There were fewer musicians than usual, but these guys did a great job.

Bryson, our great nephew is quite good on the mandolin.

His friend joined him on the standup base.

Bryan (Cerwin’s nephew and Bryson’s dad) and his friend sang and accompanied the boys with guitar.

Cerwin (red) and his brother Elvin (center in black) joined in the singing when they knew the song. Cerwin no longer plays guitar because of his hearing. He plays songs by ear – not notes in a book. Elvin no longer plays guitar because of issues with his hands and fingers. He recently had carpal tunnel surgery on both hands, but that hasn’t solved the problem.

It was a nice, relaxing few hours as we listened to their music.
