ATCA = The Antique Truck Club of America, Inc. Friday, June 13 As we traveled through a downpour during the last forty-five minutes of the drive to Macungie, we were grateful that Chaplain Jake had taken the chapel a day earlier. Many pulled off the road while others drove slowly with their four-ways on. It lightened […]

Our daughter Deb and her friend Dee have been planning this for some time. It finally worked out on Thursday, June 12. After Deb and Dee plugged in the crockpot in the shop kitchen and got things ready for lunch, we took the animals over to the office. Inge with Jarrett, Deb’s latest fawn rescue […]

Grade School Circus – Part 3

Tuesday, June 10 Some of the kids were skilled with Hula-hoops. I was impressed with Jared’s ability to twirl and catch plastic plates. Jared and Jesse sat out for the end of the show because they do not do unicycles. This girl was quite good on the short one… …and the extended one. Thanks Jere and Kristen for inviting us. […]

Animals on the mats. What fun to watch the children walk, crawl, and slither across the mats as whatever animal the teacher called. Above: I think Molly is being a bear. Jesse walking as a bear. They came back as seals. I forget which animal this was, but they took very long strides across the mats. […]

We are enjoying a few days with our granddaughter Lydia (from Maine). She learned of friends coming to Pennsylvania and is pleased to spend time with her Pennsylvania family. The other day I enjoyed watching this pretty female finch picking at sunflower seeds in the feeder outside our kitchen window. My husband, Cerwin, and I have four children, seventeen grandchildren (2 are in Heaven), and 19 great grandchildren. Cerwin spent 40 years as a truck driver for Ferrellgas. We are both retired from serving with Transport For Christ - a ministry to truck drivers - and love our life in rural Lancaster County, Pennsylvania.
