Wednesday, October 28 – The Garden Room at Landis Homes

I took these pictures during our meal while Cerwin’s oldest cousin, Orpha Newswanger (age 90 – standing) read a statement from her brother Wesley who shared what is happening to his body due to Parkinson’s Disease.

This was one of the largest group of cousins (31) that were together since this luncheon began many years ago.

It was especially nice to have Bob and Doris (Cerwin’s sister) here from Minnesota. They scheduled the timing of this trip to Pennsylvania so they could be at this cousin’s meal. They are on the right. She is wearing a lavender dress and Bob a dark shirt.
We get together four times a year and as we age, there is often a cousin or two missing due to death. We also hear updates on those who could not attend due to health issues.

Doris with her still-natural brown hair!
Yes. She takes after her mother who never did get totally gray.
