After a few days of doctoring, Inge knew it was time to say goodbye to Olivia.

As we have done for her last four cats, Olivia was buried on the back edge of our woodlot.

Cerwin dug her grave yesterday.

We were surprised that he made the grave the correct size, without knowing the dimentions of the box.

Olivia was buried in the same area as Timothy and Barnabas. Sir Greystone and Aimie are resting in another area of our yard.

After the box and gravesite were covered with dirt, Inge planted a flower which will indicate her gravesite.

To dig the grave, Cerwin dug up a few Iris roots, so I planted them to the left of Inge’s flower.

Inge wasn’t sure of the kind of flower she dug up from her yard. I identified it with my cell phone flower ap. It is a Purple Shamrock.
