Sauder Cousin’s Lunch
Wednesday, January 30 We had a fairly small group, but lots of fun. The roads weren’t great and a snow squall was predicted – and happened – while we were eating. This is Larry and Janet, Ken, and Velda. Mel (Velda’s husband) was also there, but must have been out at the buffet to get […]
The Reason There was No Blog Entry from Me Yesterday!
Cerwin and our children had a SURPRISE 75th Birthday Party for me at lunchtime. I didn’t look at my pictures yet, but wanted to post this one from Deb’s Facebook page. Look at the cake from Cake and Cup, Lititz, PA. It is a replica of my camera. I will have pictures of the day […]
Lighted Truck
I am sure this truck has had lights on it since before Christmas, but obviously we do not travel this part of RT 322 at night, because we never noticed the lights until we were on our way home from the sportsman’s show the other night. It was difficult to get a full picture because […]

Thank You for bringing me into this world and […]

Lunch at Fox Meadows Creamery
Friday, January 25 It was a slow, relaxing day for us, so Cerwin suggested we use one of our gift cards for Fox Meadows Creamery. That sounded good to me. His meal – half sandwich – smoked turkey panini and sweet potato fries I started with a crème brulee latte – yum I enjoyed my […]
Winter Comfort
Making chicken corn soup on a cold winter day is good for the soul and the stomach.
Flowers in Winter
The other evening – after a cold winter day – Cerwin came home with pretty yellow flowers. They have brightened our kitchen for the past week and a half. A few days later their beauty was enhanced by the evening sun. Thank you, Cerwin, for brightening our house.
Icy Rain Drops
Sunday, January 20 Early morning rain on a cold morning caused these glistening drops.
Eastern Bluebird on a Windy Day
She came to the window feeder and just sat there enduring the wind. I think she had her little “toenails” dug into the feeder.
