Wednesday, January 28 – This would have been my mother’s 93rd birthday. I loved the glitter of the sun shining on these icicles. They looked like glass. I wasn’t quite as thrilled to find a squirrel in this birdfeeder, but took advantage of the photo opportunity. Beauty is in the eye of the beholder.
Tuesday, January 27 Cardinals always look spectacular in the snow. The male seemed particularly brilliant. The temperatures were warm enough last Tuesday to create many icicles. The snow made everything look cold – even with a warm-looking sunset.
