We love you! Grandpa & Grandma
I love the simplicity of the flowers and birds in our yard.
We were in Ohio for the Parade of Lights – the first portion of the TFC Ohio Truck Rally. It was beautiful to see 250-plus big rigs at night. There will me more pictures after I have time to go through them.
Thursday, June 30 For his birthday gift, Nate chose a dinner date with us – and General Sutter Inn for the restaurant. (We give our children and grandchildren a variety of choices.) We had a great evening hearing about things that are going on in his life. We shared a cheese plate. Some of the décor […]
We love you, Daddy & Mother
Thursday, June 30 A cattle truck going by our house. This was the first day that I had time to play with my new camera since Truck Rally, as it takes me about three days to do the financial reports and put things in their respective places until next June. It was nice having time […]

Wednesday evening, June 29 After stopping at Perfect Image Camera to pick up my new Nikon D7200, Cerwin went to Home Depot for chapel construction supplies. I stayed in the car to play with my new “toy”, and after doing a few initial settings, I took my first picture: the sign right in front of me. […]

Saturday, June 25 I am going to post a few pictures here, but most of them will be on my Facebook page. My camera was working okay during the first hour, then I noticed strange lines and red markings on the pictures. I was disappointed that the sensor chose this day to go bad. Consequently […]
Wednesday, June 22 – Cerwin asked Ian to help him get the International Chapel ready for the Truck Rally. The first four photos are by Inge. The chapel under construction for Texas is in the background. When Ian was finished washing the chapel, he mowed yard at the International Office. Friday evening, June 24, was setup for […]
We love you, Grandpa and Grandma
Sunday Evening, June 19 The table was decorated with golf balls – I think they were for Jere, because Cerwin doesn’t play golf. Ribs and roast beef provided by Roy and Deb Cerwin and Roy Dessert Cerwin with his Father’s Day gifts from the evening. These three look like they are planning something serious. 🙂 […]
Sunday, June 19 There must have been Amish church in our neighborhood. It was a beautiful morning for scooters and open buggies and we met many as we drove to our church. Lunch was our annual friends birthday dinner – this year at Mark and Marcy’s house. Bread Roast Beef Potatoes There was also a vegetable […]
Saturday, June 18 I met this rabbit shortly after 6:30 AM when I was walking across Macungie Park to get our morning coffee and breakfast sandwich. It wasn’t interested in going with me as it preferred the grass over coffee. I love seeing new (or old) things on an early morning walk. About mid-morning Denis […]
Friday, June 17 We weren’t there very long before people began visiting the chapel – some came in alone, others with family or friends. While the men – Cerwin and Chaplain Steve – manned the chapel, I went for a walk to see what was happening in the vendor area of the park. It seems there […]
