A Dark-eyed Junco on a Windy Day
It was resting on a shepherd’s hook when a gust of wind came along and ruffled its feathers. Then the wind stopped, and it could relax until the next gust of wind. An Interesting fact about dark-eyed juncos: They form monogamous pairs (that mate for a lifetime) and produce 2 to 3 broods per season.
