Cerwin’s Ten-Day Birthday Celebration – Day 3

For this day Cerwin chose a Bluegrass Gospel Concert at Farmersville Fire Company.

The concert began with Tru Vintage – a local and excellent group.

There was an overflow crowd. I was sitting next to the young man in the blue plaid shirt. You can see Diane, Cerwin and Sam Rittenhouse next to my empty chair.

I don’t think they planned to open the back doors, but it was the only way to deal with the many people. Proceeds benefitted the fire company.

The visiting group was Heartland Harmony – a very talented group from Charles City, Iowa.

I appreciated their good harmony and skilled instrumentals.

Each group did two sets then closed by singing the last song together. It was called The Goodbye Song.

It was a delightful evening.
