Our Family Picnic

Sunday, June 14

Our son Jere with his great niece Haven

Her parents (Jordan and Nicole) were trying to get her to smile, which she did – slightly.

A lot happening in this picture. On the left, Emmy his carrying small lawn chairs; center, Anthony is arriving with his dog Ana; and in the background, Nathan is beginning the process of blowing up their bounce house/sliding board.

Cerwin praying over our family and the meal. Everyone brought food from a sign-up list I created on Perfect Potluck.

I captured Garth (right) pausing from his busy activities to join us in prayer. 🙂

I put the toy cart in the grass, but Lainey, Emmy, and Garth chose to play in the dirt.

We set up tables on the north side of our house where the trees provide shade.

The bounce house and sliding board were a hit with the little ones.

We filled these blue buckets with water, which was also a favorite spot on this warm afternoon. The children in this picture are second cousins; Sierra, Emmy, and Natalie.

My heart is always blessed when I can watch our children, grandchildren, and great grandchild enjoying being together. We had only about half the group of family members due to distance and conflicting activities.
