Lauree’s Birthday Supper – Tuesday, June 9

It was a beautiful evening, so we went outside after eating a Rino’s Pizza supper. We usually order from Two Cousins Restaurant, but they are closed on Tuesdays. Meals of choice on this evening were hamburger subs, cheese pizza, and ham and cheese stromboli.

Since it was warm, watering plants (or stones) was a fun thing for Lainey and Emmy to do. It was the time of day when the shadows were long.

Lauree, Nate (holding Rylee), Cerwin, and I had a great time visiting while the girls played.

Then it was time for dessert. This time it was ice cream and fresh strawberries.

Lainey and Emmy had become so wet that they removed their tops before enjoying ice cream.

Oh, how I love evenings with grandchildren and great grandchildren.
