Today’s Walk with Great Grandchildren

Monday, June 1

Jazzy, Natalie, Renee, and Garth were here for a few hours today and wanted to go for a walk. It was a beautiful afternoon.

I suggested we take our garbage can out to the end of the driveway so Great Grandpa didn’t have to do it.

Garth didn’t have shoes along, so we put him in the toy cart we keep in the garage. He loved it and the girls liked pushing him.

I wanted to see what was planted in the field below our house. It is soybeans as we suspected. There has been corn there for many, many years.

When coming back, we crossed to the other side of the road to check that field.

We could see this from the road, but went closer to get some pictures of the corn that is just coming up.

It’s been a good day. I have been having a CT scan and seeing a pulmonologist once a year since having pneumonia in the fall of 2024. During my appointment this morning, she said not much is changing with the bronchial area of my lungs (which concerned her) and said I do not have to see her again unless I have issues or get a cold where the cough doesn’t go away. Loved that news.
