Jesse’s Graduation from Lancaster County Career and Technology Center – Willow Street Campus

Tuesday Evening, May 26

Calvary Church, Lancaster, PA

His parents, Jere and Kristen; behind them, his Aunt Deb and Uncle Roy; my empty chair, and Cerwin.

We were pleased that in the graduates walk-around the auditorium, Jesse came right by our seats. He is our youngest grandson.

Half the class was on our side of the room and the other half on the other side.

Jesse’s Automotive Technology class. He wants to use these skills when he serves in the Marines.

The initials following each name represents their high school. MC behind Jesse’s name is Manheim Central. That graduation will be in a few days.

We appreciated the short encouraging introduction and speech by Willow Street’s CTC Principal/Director, Jeremy King.

“It is not where you begin, but where you end.”

Jesse receiving his graduation certificate and congratulations from the principal.

Jesse was one of four to receive an award. His was for Student of Merit.

Our daughter Deb caught this great photo of him when his family made a lot of noise. 🙂

Awards were given following each technology group: Animal Production Science & Technology, Automotive Technology, Collision Repair, Dental Assistant, Diesel Equipment Technology, Medical Assistant, Nursing Assistant/HHA, Patient Care Technician, Veterinary Assistant, Welding Technology, and Introduction to Manufacturing. I counted 303 graduating students.

Along with his gift bag was a gift card for Sheetz (a local fuel and quick stop). He and several of his classmates were going there to celebrate. 🙂
