Saturday Evening, May 23

Her birthday cake was also chocolate inside. You will notice a 62 on the cake to the left. That cake was for Natalie’s Grandpa Zuck. His was a white/coconut/pineapple cake.

Aunt Melita, Natalie, and Renee waiting for supper to be ready.

Her birthday cake was celebrated in the living room
The main course was hamburgers made on the grill by Natalie’s dad, Nathaniel. Because there were so many people, only the children sat at the kitchen table. The rest of us sat on chairs in the living room. Guests included us (great grandparents), Grandpa and Grandma Zuck, Aunt Melita and her fiancé Keith, Uncle Sam, his wife Torey, and their baby son Wyatt, Uncle Ben, his wife Moriah, and their children Shiloh, Isaac, and Noah, plus Aunt Stephanie and her children (not sure of their names).

She blew out the candles about the time we started singing Happy Birthday.

There were lots of gifts.

Opening her gift from Pappy and Grammy Myers who could not be there because they were 500 miles away in Maine.

A highlight for all the girls was the pack of clip-on earrings from an uncle and aunt.

Birthday parties for great grandchildren are so much fun. Plus, it was nice to be with Nate and Abby’s extended family.
