This was our first time back to Blessings of Hope since Cerwin’s cataract surgery. As usual, we chose the 8:30 – 11:00 am shift.

We were the only one’s repackaging licorice jellybeans from bulk packaging to a size for a family to purchase in a Blessings of Hope store.

The people around us thought we had the best job of the day! Especially those husking corn.
When we finished, we joined the others in our row of tables and packaged pasta which was a similar process.
I have volunteered two times at Blessings when I have come to visit family in PA ! My sister and my mom have worked at the dehydration plant a few times as well. Chris W. from Arkansas
We went to the dehydration plant to see if we liked it better than the Leola location. We liked both, but Leola offer’s chairs, which is good for both of us.
Oh yes, having chairs is good. 🙂
