Sunday, May 10
My favorite gift on Sunday was having nine family members around our table: children, in-loves, and two grandchildren. But it was delightful to feel their love by the gifts they chose for me.

I received two dozen red roses from Cerwin a few days early.

Following worship services each of the ladies received a rose of their color choice from the youth group.

Jere and Kristen arrived with these beautiful (and delicious) cookies from Cake and Cup Bake Shoppe.

Jeff never fails to give me something to plant in one of our patio flower beds. This year it was a yellow rose.

Mark and Diane went shopping at Blessings of Hope and brought us a variety of things, including this pumpkin pie.

Roy and Deb know that my favorite cookies are very thin and go well with tea or coffee.

Jere and Kristen’s children did something similar for Kristen as our children did for me and brought supper to their house. On the way home from her parents house, Austin and Jana stopped in and gave us hugs and a large slice of homemade lemon raspberry cake (which she made) that was left-over supper.
Plus: Our children paid for the entire meal. I felt loved!
Tomorrow: posed photos we took after lunch.
What a delightful Mothers’ Day gift!!!
