Wednesday Evening, April 22

Since we were not taking our children out for his birthday for a few days, I thought he should have a special meal on his birthday. He chose Texas Roadhouse in Ephrata.

I invited his good friend Sam to join us. We each enjoyed a 6 oz filet mignon. They were so good. We each chose different sides: Sam had mashed potatoes and green beans; Cerwin had a salad and sweet potato; and I enjoyed seasoned rice and a salad.

We enjoyed catching up on each other’s lives.

I got a Tropical Breeze non-alcoholic mocktail. The guys just got water. I like something other than water on a special occasion. 🙂

As we were leaving, this horse and carriage turned east in front of us as we were turning west. We thought the horse looked stately and handsome.
