Recently our son Jere, told us that PaulB purchased a strip mall in Leesport, PA, to turn the large warehouse into a new location for a hardware store. He invited us to come see it before much has been done, so we will appreciate the finished project this fall.
Jere is Facilities and Safety Manager for PaulB so is on the ground floor for the construction. He brings in contractors and everyone that will be involved in turning this building into a PaulB Hardware Store.
Jere is excited to be involved in this project and showed us where everything is going to be located inside the building.
He said there will be seven tractor trailer loads of shelving coming in the near future.

After our tour of the building and an introduction to the interesting next-door magistrate, Jere took us to his field office (on the property) to show us blueprints and building plans.
From there we went to Plum Creek for lunch. It is just over two miles from the new location. We shared a chicken wrap and loaded fries (bacon and cheese) then bought a few things in their Country Store.
It was a beautiful day for a one-hour drive as spring is displaying itself everywhere.
Our cell phone GPS took us by several large dairy farms.
I love a road trip on a beautiful spring day.
