Our regular cherry tree is just starting to bloom, so it was difficult to find open blossoms a few days ago.

I am so pleased to see our weeping redbud blooming profusely. This is its first year. It is a small young tree and was only planted last spring, I was worried about it during our very cold winter. But here it is in all its glory!

My heart is smiling as I look at all these pretty redbud blooms!
