Doris Jean, what a heartbreaking story. Congratulations on being great grandparents. I have two great grandchildren now, a girl, Elizabeth, 3 that was stricken with Transverse Myelitis a month after her second birthday. Her one leg was left rather paralyzed and she has to wear brace on it but she is a happy little girl and we are just thankful it wasn’t worse. I also have one grandson, 1year old. His name is Michael. They are both so darling. My heart aches for you when I read this well written story of your grandson.
