~~~ Saturday, January 11 ~~~ It was interesting to watch a Red-bellied Woodpecker eating suet in our old (cracked and leaking) birdbath. It has become a suet feeder for the birds for the winter. The large birds seem to like this new feeder. He looked pretty against the newly fallen snow. Then I noticed a […]
I took these pictures on January 3. ~~~ Something to Ponder ~~~
I took this picture on January 3. It looks similar to this today, except the driveway is snow-covered right now. ~~~ Something to Ponder ~~~
Many birds do not like to share birdseed or suet, but finches do a good job of sharing a feeder. ~~~ Something to Ponder ~~~
Thursday, January 2 – 7:30 am By Friday morning, January 3 it was in ice. By 3 pm it was covered in snow. This morning at 7:30 it was still snow covered and icy. Somehow its expression never changes. 🙂
