As of today, our road is still hidden by cornfields – at least as we look at it from our kitchen windows. We can no longer see most vehicles – only those that are taller than cars, pickup trucks, and motorcycles. I love this view.
The other morning as I was trying to take in the beautiful morning, I noticed how distinctly our basil and Gerbera daisy were facing the Sun. As I took in the beauty, I thought, “That is what God wants from me… …my full-faced attention”.
It looked especially pretty in the morning sunrise a few days ago.

It won’t be long before this nut hits the ground.
I am pleased that our Gerbera Daisy survived the summer and is currently showing off three beautiful blooms. If I remember correctly, the daisy was a hostess gift to us for hosting a Sunday lunch earlier this year.
