As I was setting up the photo, our tour guide, Joanne, arrived and offered to take the photo so I could […]
The farmers are busy in our area – especially across the road from us. Our Amish neighbor was spreading manure on Monday, September 16. As you can see by his clothing – it was a warm morning. Wednesday evening – two days later – they began harvesting the corn on our family farm. They were […]
Things I saw in the sky during the past few days The other afternoon as we were going to our local garage – to pick up our car following its inspection – we saw this pretty reflection of the sun behind the clouds. A few nights ago I realized there was a pretty sunset in […]

I chose Bryce Canyon as the destination, he planned the route (I-70 west and I-80 east). LICENSE PLATES: During down times of driving or in city […]

Tuesday, September 10 – Lafayette, Indiana to Youngstown, Ohio As you can see, it was a beautiful morning when we left our motel in Lafayette – about 7:50 am. I love when the GPS puts us on a back road and takes us through local towns. My notes tell me we were going through Huntington, […]

Fifty-six years! We were so young and somehow thought we would stay that way. 🙂 Little did we know in 1963 what would be ahead of us. It kind of frustrates me when people say, but it has been so easy for you. Everything has been easy for you. We raised four children. Those of […]
