This is for those who remember when the pond was dug during August of 2022 – from what was an old pond that had become a swampy-kind-of-mud-hole.
This year’s January rains and snow have made if full to overflowing.
It has been almost full for the past year, but now it is overflowing into the drainpipe (center).
We could hardly imagine that happening when it was dug and shaped in August 2022.
It makes us smile to see this empty hole filled.
It’s beautiful! Is it really 1-1/2 years since it was rebuilt? We are expecting #2 in a wave of atmospheric river storms to come through this evening and tomorrow!
We enjoy driving by and noticing how beautiful it is compared to the swampy mudhole it had been.
