It was a beautiful morning for walking through the pole barn where the heifer auction would soon be held.

As I walked along the outside of the barn all I saw was noses. 🙂

BDRA Co-Chairman Tom Fritz opens with a welcome and prayer.

It’s great to watch him doing a good job. We were classmates at Manheim Central – many years ago. This is about the only time of year I see him.

I was surprised to see Glenn Hershey – from the Hershey 300th Year Celebration the previous week.

He said that he usually comes to this auction. So do I. But this is the first year that I know who he is. 🙂
