Traveling Home (14)Construction fascinates me. God gave amazing skills to men and women.

We stopped at a rest stop just north of New York City that was filled with people – with very few of them speaking English. The man who waited on us at Dunkin Donuts could barely understand our English and we could barely understand his strong middle eastern accent.

As I was watching people, I was surprised to see a woman walking toward us with one breast mostly uncovered – then I noticed she was nursing her baby.

Some people were obviously tourists and others were probably immigrants. We found everyone quite friendly. I heard Spanish, Dutch, and a variety of oriental languages.

I told Cerwin that I felt like I was in a foreign country. 🙂

I love road trips, but it is always good to be home – in our rural, Lancaster County setting.
