I find it amazing that smoke from Canada can travel the whole way to Southeastern Pennsylvania – and at times with a hint of smoke in the air.

Look at the difference just three days before the smoke rolled in.
Rest in the Lord and be willing to wait for Him. Psalm 37:7 (NLV)
It is amazing how that can happen and smell it to. Thankful it didn’t last long!
I can’t imagine living close to the fires.
It’s been so close and strong that some people are wearing masks. We don’t have air conditioning so the ashes come in through the screens. One small community was burned down completely. There are many folks who have been evacuated and just have to wait and see if their houses remain or not. We keep asking God to have mercy and send rain. Prayers appreciated!
It is so good to hear from you Rita. The fires look awful. You are in our prayers.

Thanks for praying! We did have a nice rain come through about 30 minutes ago. Looks like we got 1/2”. Hopefully it covered a big area.
Yay and Praise the Lord!
Yes, it is amazing. My mom was at a ball game near Annville and could not see the South Mountains. 🙁
