When Diane is here from Maine, one of her plans is usually to have their five Pennsylvania grandchildren here for some of the time. When they are here, it gives their mom time to catch up on things she is wanting to do. This time it was garden work, deep cleaning a few rooms, and preparing for a yard sale.

Natalie and Garth helped great grandpa bring in empty garbage containers.

Natalie told Grammy that she wanted to learn to sew when she is here this time. They set up in our garage and began sorting patches.

Anthony caught up on a reading project.

Garth playing with some of the trucks I bought the other week at a public sale.

By this time Diane was ready to teach Natalie some of the beginning basics of sewing.

Later in the day the children wanted to color.

Jazzy was missing on this day because she woke up with a sore throat.
It took a lot more food than usual as I prepared meals. Diane sleeps in our large basement bedroom and sets up air mattresses for the girls. Anthony prefers to sleep in his own bed at home.
It is rewarding to watch Diane have fun with these grandchildren.
