It was a warm rainy evening when I took some food garbage out to the woods – for the neighborhood wildlife. The sun was shining and it was raining.

I came inside and told Cerwin we will probably soon see a rainbow because of the combination of rain and sun.

It is rare that we can see a rainbow from our house because they are usually due east which is behind our woodlot. That means I have to walk to the end of our driveway (in the rain) to see it.

This one was more to the southeast.

It was a great reminder of the first rainbow God put in the sky following the great flood and promised Noah that there would never again be a flood that covered the entire earth.
