We have only one Amish family on our road and another one that we can see from our road.

This is the same carriage. I was in the back part of the house getting ready for church and didn’t see any others.

We saw two families who were walking to church as we drove by. I didn’t have my camera along. 🙁

After lunch we left to visit friends at two local retirement communities (took my camera this time) and met this family heading toward home. This is different from the first carriage because the horse is darker and its front feet are white.

This young couple has a guest house, so they have more space than some other Amish families.

The men were getting their horses and carriages ready for the trip home.

Many families had already left, but there were still about half of them still there.

We love having them in our neighborhood.
