Amish Country Tour of Lancaster County – Part 1 of 3

Saturday, November 7

1 Amish Tour (1)One of our Sunday school classes reserved a school bus, driver, and tour guide for a day-tour of Amish Country in Lancaster County.

They were looking for some extra people, and we happened to be talking to Ron and Brenda after church one evening when they asked if we were interested in going along. We had a free Saturday and were interested.

1 Amish Tour (2)Our first stop was Kitchen Kettle Village where we met our guide.

1 Amish Tour (3)We arrived just before the stores opened, so we were the only ones there.

1 Amish Tour (6)Clayton Shenk – our very skilled and interesting guide.

1 Amish Tour (5)Shortly after getting on the road, it was obvious that we were in Amish country.
