Sunday, December 16 We took Jere and Kristen’s family out for lunch on Sunday to catch up on a few 2018 birthday gifts – Ian, Jared, and Jere (or Kristen). We were not able to connect with them earlier in the year. That is Ian and Jared in the background. Jere and Kristen still have […]

Friday Evening, December 14 Josiah and Lydia invited us to go along with them to Rooster Street Butcher for supper. A waitress took this picture with Cerwin’s cell phone – and almost missed Josiah. 🙂 We decided to treat Lydia for her birthday, so told her to order a good meal. Josiah likes to order […]

Saturday, December 15 We were on the road about 6 am on a rainy foggy morning. Ralph “Shorty” Clymer (Chapter Contact Person) welcomed the group to the “upper room” at Franconia Square Café and Market, Souderton, PA. We enjoyed a delicious breakfast brunch that included a variety of egg casseroles, bacon, sausage, French toast, and […]

Evening Beauty and Sound

The other evening as I was preparing supper, I couldn’t resist going outside to capture the beauty. When outside, I heard this and looked up to a flock of geese who were preparing to land in a nearby field. I wanted to stop time and just stand there and take in the beauty for awhile […]

Hometown Puzzle

We received this really neat puzzle from Mark and Diane at our family’s Christmas celebration. Diane is good at finding unique items for gifts. She, Josiah, Abby, and Lydia put much of it together while we were in Florida – Cerwin helped on the evening we returned. I placed exactly one piece. When I mentioned […]

Update on Josiah

While we were in Florida last week, Diane took Josiah to two of his surgeons – orthopedic and skin graft. Both were pleased with his progress. The biggest change for Josiah is that his orthopedic surgeon said he may now put full weight on his right leg. His right side took the brunt of his […]

Wednesday, December 5 Drivers, Exit 285 on I-75 is where you will find this new chapel location. It is easy to call this Dade City because it is a familiar Florida city. However, the truck stop is located much closer to San Antonio, which is the city on the street address. San Antonio sounds like […]

My husband, Cerwin, and I have four children, seventeen grandchildren (two are in Heaven), and twenty-two great grandchildren. Cerwin spent 40 years as a truck driver for Ferrellgas. We are both retired from serving with Transport For Christ - a ministry to truck drivers - and love our life in rural Lancaster County, Pennsylvania.
