Trip to New England, October 6-13: Sunday in Maine

We enjoyed going to church with Diane.

We asked Hannah to choose a day and time to go out to eat for her 2022 birthday – which was the following week. This was the day that suited her. She works on a farm, and this is one of her days off. She chose 104 Maine.

Three generations: Diane (our oldest daughter), Hannah (our granddaughter) and Cerwin. Mark was at work.

Mother and daughter.

We shared an order of Truffle French fries and onion rings. We each ordered something else like sandwiches.

Diane took the three of us on a nice afternoon drive – in and out of many inlets that took us to the ocean or a bay. You can see Fort Popham in the background on the center/left. It is a Civil War-era costal defense fortification at the mouth of the Kennebec River in Phippsburg, ME.

Things and scenery we saw along the way.

We came to several turtle crossing signs.

Heading home by driving next to the place where they lived in Brunswick for many years.

Before going home, we stopped for some delicious goodies for an evening snack.
