I rarely make an entry about sparrows because they are so common, but I figure they need their own post just like some of the pretty and less common birds.

The internet tells me: Sparrows can be found in nearly every habitat, from deserts and arid grasslands to marshes, forests and even urban areas.

Most of us ignore them and rarely post pictures because they are so drab and familiar.

Yet, we are encouraged by Bible verses that remind us of God’s care for sparrows – and if He notices sparrows, he certainly knows us and our concerns.

Indeed, even the hairs on your head have all been counted! 

So, stop being afraid.

You are worth more than a bunch of sparrows.”
