Coming home from town. I thought this view of the homestead looked pretty in the rainy, morning light.

Cerwin noticed a bald eagle in a tree (next to the field below our house) when we left to have lunch at Hearth and Harrow with my brother Dale and his wife Dot.

We were celebrating her birthday and asked them to bring pictures of their recent Viking River Cruise in Europe (they were still adjusting to the time change). When I asked if the Viking Cruise was as good as the advertisements would make us believe, both answered simultaneously, “Much better.” What fun to be with them and see their pictures.

Red-bellied Woodpecker. The feeders were busy during the afternoon.

A wet mockingbird.

I didn’t have to fill the birdbath that day.

I love when the Lily of the Valley are blooming.
