Easter Sunrise Service – by White Oak Youth Group

Someone was at church early to set up a cross and a lot of Tiki torches in the yard next to the back parking lot.

I thought this was an interesting view: a Tiki torch in front of the cross.

The youth group always invites the congregation and a variety of friends to enjoy this service.

It was a cold, calm morning – about 30 degrees. Perfect for a sunrise service.

Enjoy a variety of views of the group.

Everyone was asked to stand when resurection songs were played on an electronic “boom box”.

Victory in Jesus!

David Martin shared a short resurrection message.

Prayer for the breakfast.

Youth advisors and a few youth were in the kitchen putting the final touches on the breakfast.

Thank you to the youth group for a delightful, delicious morning.

Many stayed to enjoy the food and fellowship and help with cleanup until Sunday school began at 8:45. Others (like us) went home to put final touches on Easter lunch.
