Blackworth Restaurant, Lititz

~~~
Because Cerwin spent a lot of time honoring me for my birthday a week earlier, I reserved this meal to honor him.
We like this fairly new restaurant which isn’t far from us if we want to go out together for a special meal. They did a good job of making the evening a special experience.
My usual restaurant drink is cranberry juice and sprite.
Our favorite side dish in this restaurant is their cornbread. We ordered it as an appetizer this time.
Our sweet waitress took this picture for us.
In this restaurant you order the meat of your choice, then order side dishes to share. Cerwin had a smash burger. His choice to share was scalloped potatoes.
I did not order meat but tasted a bit of his. I love their carrots, so this was my main dish – along with some scalloped potatoes. Cerwin also had some carrots.
The reason I didn’t order a large meal – I wanted to treasure the taste of their Wilbur Chocolate Mousse.
The reason Blackworth is called a “live fire” grill. This is how things are grilled here.
We were handed a rose and a packet of Wilbur Buds. The restaurant is located in the old Wilbur Chocolate Factory.
I loved spending the evening with Cerwin.
This was the 60th time we celebrated Valentine’s Day together. We had just announced our engagement a few days earlier 60 years ago.
