My Birthday Week Celebration – Day 6

Pedicures at LV Nails, Kissel Hill. I called our daughters to see if they were into getting luxurious pedicures. I could do that this year since Diane is here from Maine.

Diane was driving here from Maine when I checked with her. She asked me to check with Abby (center) first, because Diane was coming to Pennsylvania to help Abby before the birth of their fourth child. She wanted to make sure that Abby didn’t need her that morning.

After calling Abby, she said, “No, I don’t have anything for her to do, but…(hesitantly)…could I come along?” She had planned to take Diane for a pedicure the following week. 🙂 Thus, we enjoyed having her join us!

My birthday week is often the only time I get a pedicure in a year, so I like to get the “works”.

The girl in the blue was shadowing my pedicurist to learn how things are done at this spa. She had just come here from another establishment.

This feels good, but tickles if they work on the arch of the foot. 🙂

The massage. Oh, my!

Then the hot towel treatment.

My feet love the paraffin treatment.

Deb and Abby also had their toenails painted.

Diane, Deb and I went to Isaac’s for lunch. Abby had to get home because the babysitter had another appointment.

We each got a cup of soup and a sandwich.

Deb’s Rice Krispie dessert and Diane’s cookie. I tasted both.

Diane’s car needed a wash after her drive from Maine. I told her there was one in Lititz that is a favorite of our grandson Jordan. So, we tried it.

We were impressed and will use it again if in that area.

My feet appreciated this special morning, and my heart loved the fellowship.
