This is a great restaurant for brunch – the reason we made plans to meet my sister Nancy and her husband Marlin for our summer date. It’s fun to hang out with them for an hour or two.

About the time we were ready to leave – and I wanted to take pictures of a few of the many notes, quotes and Bible verses that Gracie puts on the walls – I discovered that my camera “died”.

I tried everything I knew to do (remove lens, remove batteries, try a manual reset and leave the battery out for a while) but nothing worked.

Consequently, I took two photos with Cerwin’s cell phone. (His phone takes better pictures than mine.)

Most, if not all are of her drawings and notes are done in chalk.

After taking Marlin and Nancy back to our meeting place, we took Nancy home (Marlin had an appointment.) then went to Perfect Image to see what could be done with my Nikon 7200 – or if I needed a new one.

A touch of the master’s hand quickly fixed it. Yeah!
