7 AM – The day of December 16 began with a beautiful sunrise.

By 1 pm the predicted snow began.

It snowed gently for two hours and by 3 pm we had a bit more snow cover.

The birds were busy looking for birdseed in the area of our birdfeeders.

Juncos are difficult to photograph – especially on a cloudy day.

Blue jays are easier to photograph were plentiful on this snowy day in mid-December.
