Snow

As many of you know we are getting snow today – here in Pennsylvania – but December brought us other snowy days.

We had a dusting of snow on Wednesday, December 2.

We also had flurries on Wednesday, December 9.

On Monday, December 14, we had another snowy mix.

For this one I had the opportunity to travel through the snowy mess when Cerwin dropped his cell phone – early in the morning – when picking up milk/blood/forage samples for DHIA.

The farmer who found the phone, called our son Jeff because he was the last person to call Cerwin and told him where Cerwin could find the phone.

Cerwin went back to the farm (about an hour away) but couldn’t locate the phone, so I went along on his third trip to southern Lancaster County.

We got a few more details on the phone’s location and I thought it would be good to have a second pair of eyes.

By the time we got close to the farm, the snow had turned to rain.

Cerwin missed the note that there was another door in the building – where the farmer had a office – and we easily located the phone. 🙂

We passed a few cute Christmas decorations as we approached Lancaster. It was fun to get out of the house and Cerwin was glad to have his phone again.

Today – December 16 – we are getting the real thing.

By morning we are supposed to have 8-10 inches of this pretty stuff.

I took the last three pictures just before I posted this entry.

I used a flash for this one. It looks like a snow globe, which is how it feels right now.
