Icy Day
~~~ Friday, February 25 ~~~ 7:29 AM By 9:45 AM the ice was thicker and the icicles and longer. By noon the ice began to melt and was falling off trees. The grass under our trees was covered with pieces of ice. Then before long the ice became water puddles for the crows to enjoy.
~~~ Today ~~~ 5:00 AM – my first scent and taste was coffee. The first words I heard were from the Bible. I am listening to the Bible in chronical order this year. Today the reading was from the last few chapters of Numbers, not the most exciting part of the Bible, but the reader […]

Springtime’s Coming – Supper at Denny & Karen’s
~~~ Sunday Evening, February 20 ~~~ When we came home from visiting Barb’s house (yesterday’s post), I noticed that a few daffodils and tulips were peeking through the ground. A Snowy Sunday Morning
~~~ from February 13 7:38 AM ~~~ This was the pretty view from our kitchen window on Sunday morning, February 13. Most pastors were happy that the snow did not stay on the roads. Consequently, there was no need to delay or cancel services. My favorite view was this – our driveway filled with vehicles. […]

Following a meal of chili con carne […]
Just for Fun
Now that I know the personalities of our children, I can imagine each one saying this to me at the time of their birth. ~~~ This blog entry happened today after being at Jere and Kristen’s house (for Josh’s birthday) and discussing the birth experiences of our babies. 🙂 Jeff: “Mom, must I have sleeves […]
