Jenna messaged me a few days earlier to check if they could come to visit us on Tuesday morning.
The last time they were here – family photo shoot in June – Jade said she wanted to come back and play with our toys. 🙂
She also remembered that we have several Build-A-Bears and clothing – and she had just gotten one for her birthday. That’s the one with varied colored feet.
Afterwhile they were ready for something new, so I put the collapsing block game on my laptop. She LOVED that – and look at Drake’s face. He wants a turn too.
Jade played that for quite a while.
I forget what these two were up to, but it looks like they were having fun.
It’s so much fun to have the opportunity to learn to know our great grandchildren.
Wow! It seems like just a year ago you were posting pictures of Jenna’s bridal showers and wedding! And now she’s got two little rapidly-growing concerns! Time just seems to have a way of doing that, doesn’t it?! I think Jade looks a lot like her mommy. 🙂 And I’m so glad you and Cerwin get to enjoy your great-grandchildren now. I agree. Time keeps marching on.
It must be fun to see the little ones grow through the same toys and games that their parents played many years ago — I remember you doing build-a-bears with some of them!
