Wednesday, March 25 – Leola Warehouse

This time we were preparing strawberries for freezing. People at a few other tables were washing and sorting the strawberries. We topped and quartered them.

Our great grandson Anthony enjoyed being along, but I don’t think this was one of his favorite things to do here. He likes packaging dry things like rice and noodles. I told him someday when he is older and has a wife, she will appreciate that he already knows how to do this job. 🙂

They looked so nice.
On the way home we stopped at Zig’s Bakery & Cafe for turkey sandwiches on potato brioche. Afterwards, Anthony came along to our place for a few hours and helped Cerwin pick up new tires for our lawnmower. Anthony installed one tire and Cerwin did the other. Abby had a sitter for the other four and took time to go out for lunch, grocery shopping at Blessings, and found some clothing for herself at a secondhand store.
