They frequent our feeders and the ground area around them. I enjoy their morning and evening cooing. I think the one above is a female because her head is evenly brown. My bird book tells me the males have a light gray crown on top of their head. ~~~ Something to Ponder ~~~

But, first, Cerwin asked our son Jere if he could come the evening before and remove some low branches of other trees that are in the way when he mows yard. He did this the day before, because All Season Tree and Bucket Services, Lititz, can grind them up in their large machinery. Wednesday, June […]

~~~ Saturday, June 8 ~~~ We are just back at the house after seeing the movie Sight at Penn Cinema in Lititz. We had Theatre 9 to ourselves. It should have been filled. My husband, Cerwin, and I have four children, seventeen grandchildren (2 are in Heaven), and 19 great grandchildren. Cerwin spent 40 years as a truck driver for Ferrellgas. We are both retired from serving with Transport For Christ - a ministry to truck drivers - and love our life in rural Lancaster County, Pennsylvania.
