It was on June 1 when I first noticed two blooming daylilies. There were lots of buds about ready to burst.

I photographed the largest one from a couple of angles – just because it was the first of the summer.

Today, June 7, there are lots of beautiful blooms.

These daylilies always brighten our yard with their bright yellow color because many other trees and bushes in our woodlot are finished blooming.
